The Rieder Veltlinerhof estate is known particularly for its Grüner Veltliner and is recognised as a top producer of red wines in the region.
The gentle wind, which usually flows from the cool forests of the Czech Republic, ensures that the vineyards are well aerated. Our region is favoured thanks to it having the most sunshine in Austria. These natural factors foster the even ripening of the grapes.
Wolfgang Rieder’s fascination for winemaking is accompanied by a certain curiosity and continual striving for the best solutions. Great care and attention in the vineyards, gentle processing of the grapes and prudent cellar management are all consistent with his goal of producing top quality.
