Our winery covers 3 hectares of the best vineyards. Our main varieties are Welschriesling and Chardonnay. The comprehensive care of the vines is very important to us. The exclusive hand picking is the basic requirement for the elegance of our sparkling wine. We only use the first portion of must. This is how we guarantee the highest quality. After the first fermentation in the tank, we again add sugar and yeast to the resulting base wines in the following summer and fill them into sparkling wine bottles (French "tirer" = "pull on the bottle"). Sparkling wine can only be called “sekt” after 9 months of storage “on the yeast”. We store our sparkling wines in the sparkling wine cellar and deliberately leave them on the yeast for a long time because they become finer and creamier. The yeast keeps them fresh at the same time. Maturity: 1 - 8 years.
