WINE OVER GENERATIONS
Our wines come from the hilly countryside of the Weinviertel. Even though our families have been involved in growing grapes for many generations, we are a young wine estate.
Our love of wine was actually initiated from an early age as we were lucky enough to be born into wine families. It did not take long for us to realise that we both wanted to continue the family tradition. We consciously took the decision to have a double-barrelled name and so the two wine estates joined together to become the Hugl-Wimmer wine estate with our own personal signature!
Our key focus is on Grüner Veltliner in its various interpretations. With their different soils our vineyards allow us to produce a wide selection of styles ranging from uncomplicated, fruity everyday drinking wines to more powerful wines for ageing, all produced with great care and passion.
